Fresh & Press is run by Mr David Marsh, a sole trader, from 71 Market Street, Atherton, M46 0DA. He decides what customer information is held and why. To ask anything about your information, email hello@freshandpress.co.uk and it comes straight to us.

We hold your name, your telephone number and email address, the address we collect from or deliver to, what you asked us to launder, anything you told us to be careful of, what you paid and how, and the record of your order as it moved through the shop.

We hold it to do the laundry you booked, to reach you about your order, to take payment, and to keep the business records a self-employed trader has to keep. We do not sell it, and we do not pass it to anyone for marketing.

We never see or store your full card number. Card payments are handled by Square, our payment provider, on their own systems.

Three companies do one job each for us and see the information needed for that job: Square for payments, Resend for sending you emails about your order, and Render for hosting this website and the database behind it.

This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies, and we use no analytics that follow you. If you start a booking and do not finish it, it is saved in your own browser on your own device so you can come back to it — it is not sent to us until you book.

We keep your order and payment records for as long as we need them for the shop's accounts and tax records. If you want us to remove your details, email us and we will, except where we still have to keep a record of a transaction.

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, and ask us to delete it. Email us and a person deals with it — we are a small business and none of this is automated. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

None of this affects your legal rights as a consumer, including your right to have a service carried out with reasonable care and skill.
